Who was Hayim Solomon?

Slightly modified, it is the seal of the President of the United States, and it is always visible whenever he speaks, yet very few people know what the symbols mean. The Bald Eagle was selected as a symbol for victory for two reasons: First, he is not afraid of a storm; he is strong, and he is smart enough to soar above it. Secondly, he wears no material crown. We had just broken from the King of England Also, notice the shield is unsupported. This country can now stand on its own. At the top of that shield you have a white bar signifying congress, a unifying factor. We were coming together as one nation. In the Eagle's beak you will read, ' E PLURIBUS UNUM' meaning,'one from many.' Above the Eagle, you have the thirteen stars, representing the thirteen original colonies, and any clouds of misunderstanding rolling away. Again, we were coming together as one. Notice what the Eagle holds in his talons. He holds an olive branch and arrows. This country wants peace, but we will never be afraid to fight to preserve peace. The Eagle always wants to face the olive branch, but in time of war, his gaze turns toward the arrows. They say that the number 13 is an unlucky number. This is almost a worldwide belief. You will usually never see a room numbered 13, or any hotels or motels with a 13Th floor. But think about this: 13 original colonies,13 signers of the Declaration of Independence,13 stripes on our flag,13 steps on the Pyramid,13 letters in, 'Annuit Coeptis,'13 letters in 'E Pluribus Unum,'13 stars above the Eagle,13 bars on that shield,13 leaves on the olive branch,13 fruits, and if you look closely, 13 arrows. And finally, if you notice the arrangement of the 13 stars in the right-hand circle you will see that they are arranged as a Star of David. This was ordered by George Washington who, when he asked Hayim Solomon, a wealthy Philadelphia Jew, what he would like as a personal reward for his services to the Continental Army, Solomon said he wanted nothing for himself but that he would like something for his people. The Star of David was the result. Few people know that it was Solomon who saved the Army through his financial contributions but died a pauper. I always ask people, 'Why don't you know this?' Your children don't know this, and their history teachers don't know this. Too many veterans have given up too much to ever let the meaning fade. Many veterans remember coming home to an America that didn't care. Too many veterans never came home at all. Gears of War 2 Review!

Ahhh like music to my ears hearing the name of truly the most amazing game! :D

This game is absolutely amazing. They have definitely perfected something to be unable to be perfected for it was already perfect! Ive been playing this game for a few days now, and i have no complaints! I love the streamline on every bullet, instead of just the sniper you see where every bullet goes. Which most of you think, that's annoying but really its great! It helps you see where enemies are on the battlefield if shots are being fired. The Campaign mode is absolutely amazing. They have made a interesting view on Dom and him fighting to once again be reunited with his wife again. Does it happen? Is she alive? PLAY FOR YOURSELF and find out the answer to this question! :D Also as most I'm sure know, that Dizzy, and Tai are new characters. Oh and one of the three other brother's that carmine. But the old gang is still good and together! I'm sure most everyone in this world already have it so I'm not gonna keep going on and making a huge rant and rave over something everyone knows about already! But if you don't have it you better start digging in your couch's because this is a must have game!

Well today i was listening to music on my computer like always but today was diffrent! My baby sister who is only 16 months came up to me and pointed at my headphones so i lowered the volume and put them on her so she can hear it. At the time Slipknot was playing. And if anyone knows who they are then yeah. If you don't, there the best head banging metal/hardcore rock alive! When i put them on her she started dancing which cracked me up! XD But was even cooler SHE HEADBANGED! For the first time she banged her head and it was so cute! :D

Little Big Planet Reveiw

Ahh ITS A SACK BOY! :) This game is one of the cutest games ive played. This game is very kid friendly. Little Big Planet is a side scrolling type of game. Now im not a big fan of those types of games but this is a very intresting game. The characters are VERY customizeable. There are MANY things to unlock in EVERY level. You can make your own levels too. Now, my loyalty is to Microsoft and Xbox360, but this game is good. There are many challenges in this game that are even hard for me! Also a EXTREAMLY cool feature that just blows my mind is making the sackboy/girl talk. Now, in order to do so you must need the PlaystationEye. First time playing we pluged it in to make our own sticker and in the process discovered it talking as we were. This is amazing to me because it can detect vowels and mouth them as a person would. This is EXTREAMLY hi-teck and amazing. I just love this game and it is definetly worth buying.

Nick And Nora's Infinite Playlist Reveiw

Well For my girlfriend and I's one year anniversary i took her to dinner and a movie and she decided she wanted to see Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist. It was either that or Max Payne. I would of loved to see Max Payne but it was up to her. Plus i figured a romantic movie would top the night off well. And sure enough it did. I acually enjoyed the movie. There were some disturbing parts...such as something to do with gum, im not gonna go into detail for the safty of your minds! lol but the movie is based off a book, but other then that the movie was a really nice movie, the story was cute, and what not. Some funny parts toped it off and made it a good one! Hope you all see it and enjoy it as i did.

You know, i was just sitting here and thinking about life. Just life itself. Like what's my purpose, why was i brought up on earth? I was sitting here thinking about all the mistakes Ive made in my life. The mistakes that hurt others, myself, or just the ones that were plain idiotic. I was sitting here and thinking life is just like a long straight road with other roads to take turns on, kinda like as if you were gonna look up a tree, You start as the seen and your childhood is easy and your guided by parents and you grow stronger that's the base of the tree. Then it gets to the biggest point in your life, where u reach being a teenager. That's where all the branches bloom and it's up to you to pick one. The bad route, the good route, or just whichever. If your anything like me, then you'll come across many holes in the road. Sometimes it wont just be holes. There will be obstacles to overcome and everything. I live in doubt alot...I tend to, live in the past what some people say. I look back at many mistakes Ive made alot. And its hard to get those holes paved over and never see them again sometimes. Sometimes for people its the easiest thing. People say it's stupid to live in the past. I understand that but there are times in life, in every one's life you make a new mistake, and an old similar mistake comes to mind then more and more keep coming and they bring you down. I live my life like that. And sadly i make many mistakes in my life. I just think it's hard to live life in doubt and sadness when all mistakes in your life come out in your mind and it's hard for you to recall a good thing you've done. Just wanted to have you guys think about that and possibly tell me what you think.

Hm...The question that goes through many people's heads. It could be for any situation almost. But i have a particular situation in fact. My girlfriend who i have been dating for almost a year and we have been having alot of problems. Unfortunately it's possibly close to being over. No matter what there will never be words that describe my love for her. I love her more than anything. It really kills me knowing its close to being over. But the reason its possibly gonna be over between us soon is the both of us being fed up with the way things have been going. We fight alot, and make up after but it gets annoying after a while. It's really hard to have a good relationship when we depend on our families to see each other because neither of us can drive yet. She Say's she still wants to be friends. But i don't want to be. Not that I'm a jerk, but its gonna kill me hanging out with her and seeing her smile and her big beautiful eyes that i fell in love with, and know...i cant hug her, or kiss her. She says she wouldn't even think about dating anybody because she would want to be friends until later on and get back together in the future. I'm not sure i like the sound of it but it just really kills me...and i really don't know what to do. Ive sat in my room and listened to our song and just sobbed till i can hardly breathe...I really hope that things work out :-/

Well i know, I'm pretty late... BUT! This movie was amazing. I watched it last night because my girlfriends younger brother got it from his dad. This movie is absolutely GREAT! This movie is extremely funny too. I recommend for those of you that havn't seen it, DO IT! In fact, buy it! It is worth it. On The DVD version after the credits is a scene not shown in theaters. It opens up the future movie rumors are going on about. THE AVENGERS! Which S.H.E.I.L.D is head of. The avengers consist of MANY marvel heroes. Only ones known to be seen in this movie so far is Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, and possibly Storm. Most Likly Wolverine and Spider man will make an apperance in the movie as well! :D

In fact, in a recent interview with Cliff Bleszinski (Creator of Gears Of War) has said that this game could be this years Sleeper Hit. Now seeing as Cliff knows how big of a success gears is, and to say this is outrageously awesome! I cannot wait for this game. It does look scary and I need a new one to play at night. Alone in the dark wasn't all that great.

Sorta off topic here, but today i went to my girlfriends house for the day and we sat down and figured we wanted to watch a movie. So she goes to her shelves full of DVD's..and the prehistoric VHS lol. And she came back with...Samantha: All American Girl. Now...I'm not a fan of chick flicks or anything like this AT ALL! but man...this movie was pretty good. I liked the moral of the movie. Also, i recommend you see it.

A pretty well anticipated game is being released October 28th! Fallout 3 is a Role Playing shoot-em up kinda game. This game has been said to be ressurected by Bethesda! The creator of Morrowind Elder Scrolls. This game is said to have many cool guns! Which all of us gamers love our fire power! :D This game i would recomend buying. Fracture is a sci-fi type of game. In this game you play as a character named Jet Brody. I recommend this game as a rental one. To me it isn't worth buying. But that is my opinion. Gamespot has given this game a 6.0. So ill let you decide XD The Demo off the xbox, gives you enough time to think, "hey this is a neat new game." It has a earth Raising/Lowering gun which is kinda cool. Have fun happy gaming!

Jeez. My sister who is only 9 is growing up to fast...She is always talking about boys being cute, and of course me being the big brother i don't like that. She thinks Orlando Bloom is the cute one now. She watched Lord Of The Rings and she just is now obsessed with him. Which is sorta weird seeing as he is old enough to be her dad...but whatever lol. Hm...To me not a tough decision. Ive played both, and I absolutely LOVE the Xbox. I like Sony and all, But Microsoft takes the cake on this one. I love Xbox's editable profiles and just how its all set up. Come Nov. 19Th the new update for Xbox Live Experience it will be even better! I like the way the PS3 is set up and all, but not worth it. Only game i have seen and played that was good on it was sadly a downloadable game called, PAIN. So to me XBOX wins, What is your opinion? Please comment and let me know! :)

Well i was an agnostic, and i met the light of my life last year. I met my girlfriend on October 27th, 2007. She is the most amazing girl i have ever met in my entire life! She is loving, caring, and she is just an all round sweet girl. She is a christian and really wanted me to go to church. Unfourtanetly i had some really negative views on the whole thing, but now i have really seen the light after going a couple of times to a youth service every wednesday. I love the church it is really cool. I am also glad i gave Christianity a chance in my life. It has really made me look at life in a whole new way.

As time gets closer i CAN NOT wait till gears 2 comes out. Ive seen all the videos and interveiws from it and it looks amazing (as expected). There is gonna be new gameplay such as Warzone and Execution, well a new one is in it called "Horde". Its really cool, for those of you that haven't heard of it, check it out.

My Favorite Classic console, was the Dreamcast, the easily forgotten to many gamers, it wasn’t that big of a hit, but i loved its features it had that no other console has yet to have, Such as the digital display on the controller! It was so cool. I know atari’s are great and started alot of hype, but im only 15, i wasnt around for that, even though i would of loved to, HA! I did however have a sega Genesis when i was really young, and i absolutly loved that little blue hedgehog that we have all loved in some way or another at some point, SONIC! My kind of gaming now are the new aged games, i love Gears of War, and im stoked for the new one coming out! I like RPG games, there a good genre of games. Thats about it for gaming so far, come back to read more in the future!

Well for starters I’m a 15 year old boy. In all honesty i know right from wrong but the wrong is sometimes funner or just more interesting. Ive had my share of extremely stupid decisions in life. I love my life. I have an amazing family around me, two sisters, there a pain, in fact my baby sister is screaming now lol but i couldn’t ask for any better. My mom is great, she has stuck with me through the hardest times and help me get through them no matter what and I’m really proud of her and how well she is handling everything. My dad, is a really successfulcomputer programmer, and he is one of the best caring dad’s who just want the best for us all, but is always putting himself down, But he just cant see were all happy, were to tired from all the work in the house But that’s my family, my life…i love them. I especially love my WONDERFUL girlfriend, Michelle. She treats me well, means well and has the sweetest personality, But like every other, were not perfect, in fact were far from it, we have many ups and downs but we love each other both very much and we have been together nearly a year.
