Who was Hayim Solomon?
On the rear of the One Dollar bill, you will see two circles. Together, they comprise the Great Seal of the United States. At the base of the pyramid is the Roman Numeral for 1776. (MDCCLXXVI) If you look at the right-hand circle, and check it carefully, you will learn that it is on every National Cemetery in the United States It is also on the Parade of Flags Walkway at the Bushnell, Florida National Cemetery , and is the centerpiece of most hero's monuments. Slightly modified, it is the seal of the President of the United States, and it is always visible whenever he speaks, yet very few people know what the symbols mean. The Bald Eagle was selected as a symbol for victory for two reasons: First, he is not afraid of a storm; he is strong, and he is smart enough to soar above it. Secondly, he wears no material crown. We had just broken from the King of England Also, notice the shield is unsupported. This country can now stand on its own. At the top of that shield you have a white bar signifying congress, a unifying factor. We were coming together as one nation. In the Eagle's beak you will read, ' E PLURIBUS UNUM' meaning,'one from many.' Above the Eagle, you have the thirteen stars, representing the thirteen original colonies, and any clouds of misunderstanding rolling away. Again, we were coming together as one. Notice what the Eagle holds in his talons. He holds an olive branch and arrows. This country wants peace, but we will never be afraid to fight to preserve peace. The Eagle always wants to face the olive branch, but in time of war, his gaze turns toward the arrows. They say that the number 13 is an unlucky number. This is almost a worldwide belief. You will usually never see a room numbered 13, or any hotels or motels with a 13Th floor. But think about this: 13 original colonies,13 signers of the Declaration of Independence,13 stripes on our flag,13 steps on the Pyramid,13 letters in, 'Annuit Coeptis,'13 letters in 'E Pluribus Unum,'13 stars above the Eagle,13 bars on that shield,13 leaves on the olive branch,13 fruits, and if you look closely, 13 arrows. And finally, if you notice the arrangement of the 13 stars in the right-hand circle you will see that they are arranged as a Star of David. This was ordered by George Washington who, when he asked Hayim Solomon, a wealthy Philadelphia Jew, what he would like as a personal reward for his services to the Continental Army, Solomon said he wanted nothing for himself but that he would like something for his people. The Star of David was the result. Few people know that it was Solomon who saved the Army through his financial contributions but died a pauper. I always ask people, 'Why don't you know this?' Your children don't know this, and their history teachers don't know this. Too many veterans have given up too much to ever let the meaning fade. Many veterans remember coming home to an America that didn't care. Too many veterans never came home at all. Hey guys. Like the picture? Me Too :D Anyway i just wanted to say I'm tired of all the people bashing Obama, Its not like i support him, I'm only 15 and idc at all for politics at this point. But people if politics's is gonna be so huge for you all, then act like it! Be the true American you all should be! McCain or Obama...Be happy you were apart of a major piece in history! Also there is nothing anyone can do. So stop wasting time and just hope and pray for our new found leader. Please, don't comment me to bash me, idc for it. If you don't like it, don't read it! My lil sissy!

Well today i was listening to music on my computer like always but today was diffrent! My baby sister who is only 16 months came up to me and pointed at my headphones so i lowered the volume and put them on her so she can hear it. At the time Slipknot was playing. And if anyone knows who they are then yeah. If you don't, there the best head banging metal/hardcore rock alive! When i put them on her she started dancing which cracked me up! XD But was even cooler SHE HEADBANGED! For the first time she banged her head and it was so cute! :D

I'm Back! :D

Hey guys, ive been taking quite a break because ive just been having some things to do. Ive been busy hanging out with some new friends ive made in my new neighborhood and just hanging out with my girlfriend. Some good news i bring to you guys though. Gamefly has sent an e-mail to me confirming that they will be shipping Gears Of War 2! :D I am BEYOND happy. So I can't wait to play it and put out a reveiw of it for my gaming readers!

1 year anniversary!!!!!

Yay! It's Michelle and I's 1 year anniversary today! A good year at that. No matter how many problems or fights we've had she makes me SUPER happy! :) Wow...a year already. That's crazy i can remeber the time i asked her out all nervous like a little school girl. Heh...wow. :)

Just thinking...

You know, i was just sitting here and thinking about life. Just life itself. Like what's my purpose, why was i brought up on earth? I was sitting here thinking about all the mistakes Ive made in my life. The mistakes that hurt others, myself, or just the ones that were plain idiotic. I was sitting here and thinking life is just like a long straight road with other roads to take turns on, kinda like as if you were gonna look up a tree, You start as the seen and your childhood is easy and your guided by parents and you grow stronger that's the base of the tree. Then it gets to the biggest point in your life, where u reach being a teenager. That's where all the branches bloom and it's up to you to pick one. The bad route, the good route, or just whichever. If your anything like me, then you'll come across many holes in the road. Sometimes it wont just be holes. There will be obstacles to overcome and everything. I live in doubt alot...I tend to, live in the past what some people say. I look back at many mistakes Ive made alot. And its hard to get those holes paved over and never see them again sometimes. Sometimes for people its the easiest thing. People say it's stupid to live in the past. I understand that but there are times in life, in every one's life you make a new mistake, and an old similar mistake comes to mind then more and more keep coming and they bring you down. I live my life like that. And sadly i make many mistakes in my life. I just think it's hard to live life in doubt and sadness when all mistakes in your life come out in your mind and it's hard for you to recall a good thing you've done. Just wanted to have you guys think about that and possibly tell me what you think.

Is It Worth It?

Hm...The question that goes through many people's heads. It could be for any situation almost. But i have a particular situation in fact. My girlfriend who i have been dating for almost a year and we have been having alot of problems. Unfortunately it's possibly close to being over. No matter what there will never be words that describe my love for her. I love her more than anything. It really kills me knowing its close to being over. But the reason its possibly gonna be over between us soon is the both of us being fed up with the way things have been going. We fight alot, and make up after but it gets annoying after a while. It's really hard to have a good relationship when we depend on our families to see each other because neither of us can drive yet. She Say's she still wants to be friends. But i don't want to be. Not that I'm a jerk, but its gonna kill me hanging out with her and seeing her smile and her big beautiful eyes that i fell in love with, and know...i cant hug her, or kiss her. She says she wouldn't even think about dating anybody because she would want to be friends until later on and get back together in the future. I'm not sure i like the sound of it but it just really kills me...and i really don't know what to do. Ive sat in my room and listened to our song and just sobbed till i can hardly breathe...I really hope that things work out :-/

Sorta off topic here, but today i went to my girlfriends house for the day and we sat down and figured we wanted to watch a movie. So she goes to her shelves full of DVD's..and the prehistoric VHS lol. And she came back with...Samantha: All American Girl. Now...I'm not a fan of chick flicks or anything like this AT ALL! but man...this movie was pretty good. I liked the moral of the movie. Also, i recommend you see it.

Bummed...

:( relationships are hard...Exspecially at my age..its almost been a year and a good one at that. Man..life has so many obstacles as is, when u add love to the mix...its just trouble. For any of you guys out there reading this that are my age or around it...Stick with the women hopping untill u r SURE you have found the right one. Im sure but man this age sucks...

Halloween Horror Nights!

Well, my parents went off to Halloween Horror Nights without me. :( They also left me with my two sisters and grandma! XD oh boy...and let me tell you...Abbie (my baby sister) is being such a pain. To anyone who is not familiar with Universal Studios Orlando's event called Halloween Horror Nights. Its self explainitory, a halloween event FULL of scary haunted houses! for example Reflections Of Fear, is a haunted house this year! Based on the theme BLOODY MARY! New House

Now were starting to get settled into the new house and it is coming along great and i love it so much. I love my new room even though it is a bit smaller its good enough for me :) ( and my grandma for getting me a futon to go along with the new room)

Ugh...

Jeez. My sister who is only 9 is growing up to fast...She is always talking about boys being cute, and of course me being the big brother i don't like that. She thinks Orlando Bloom is the cute one now. She watched Lord Of The Rings and she just is now obsessed with him. Which is sorta weird seeing as he is old enough to be her dad...but whatever lol. I'm hoping i can keep my baby sister on my side and be like me and not worry about guys until older.

Religion

Well i was an agnostic, and i met the light of my life last year. I met my girlfriend on October 27th, 2007. She is the most amazing girl i have ever met in my entire life! She is loving, caring, and she is just an all round sweet girl. She is a christian and really wanted me to go to church. Unfourtanetly i had some really negative views on the whole thing, but now i have really seen the light after going a couple of times to a youth service every wednesday. I love the church it is really cool. I am also glad i gave Christianity a chance in my life. It has really made me look at life in a whole new way.
